# Gameplay Mechanics

**Duration:** 10 days

## Squad Formation and Attack

Every day [the Gatto channel](https://t.me/gatto_game) publishes information about which squads are needed to attack.

Your task: form squads of three pets, **as indicated in the Quahilles briefs**, and place them in the center of the playing field.

**Important:** **Your squad must be placed in the same positions as shown in the image above. The formed squad must remain on the field until the next squad is announced.**

Information about the damage dealt by your squad is updated once a day on a special page.

## Damage Calculation

Damage = Sum of Squad [Attributes](https://gatto-game.gitbook.io/gatto-or-whitepaper/version-on-english/gattomons/attributes)

## Damage Boost: Offerings and Pet Rarity

**$GTON Offering**\
\
Burn $GTON and get a multiplier to the sum of your squad's attributes. This will be in effect from the day of the offering until the end of the event. The more $GTON burned, the higher the multiplier:

| **$GTON burned** | **Multiplier** |
| ---------------- | -------------- |
| 50 $GTON         | ×2.0           |
| 75 $GTON         | ×3.0           |
| 100 $GTON        | ×4.0           |
| 125 $GTON        | ×5.0           |
| 500 $GTON        | х10.0          |

To burn $GTON, send it to this wallet address:

**`EQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM9c`**

The offering multiplier is not cumulative. For example, on the first day, if you burn 50 $GTON, you receive a ×2.0 multiplier. If on the third day you decide to increase your multiplier to ×5.0, you will need to make a new offering and burn the full amount of 125 $GTON.

**Pet Rarity Modifier**

Higher [rarity](https://gatto-game.gitbook.io/gatto-or-whitepaper/version-on-english/gattomons/rarity) pets provide an additional damage bonus.

| **Rarity** | **Multiplier** |
| ---------- | -------------- |
| Ordinary   | х1.0           |
| Rare       | х2.0           |
| Mythical   | х3.0           |
| Legendary  | х4.0           |
| Mutant     | х5.0           |

Only the rarest pet in your squad is taken into count, bonuses from the rarity of pets within the squad are not summed up.

**Important: Multipliers from offerings and from the rarest pet in your squad are added together.**

## Damage Calculation Example

Let’s say your squad consists of **Goosprucedwarf**, **Crabbler**, and **Penguin**.

Their attribute values are as follows:

* Goosprucedwarf: 33
* Crabbler: 33
* Penguin: 134

Total base damage of the squad:

> **33 + 33 + 134 = 200**

Now, let's look at the multipliers.

Goosprucedwarf and Crabbler are of **Ordinary rarity**, while Penguin is **Legendary**.\
Since the multiplier is based on the **rarest pet in the squad**, in this case, it’s **×4.0** for Penguin's legendary rarity.

Additionally, you made an offering of **125 $GTON**, which grants you an extra multiplier of **×5.0**.

The multipliers are added together:

> **4.0 + 5.0 = 9.0**

The final damage is calculated as follows:

> **200 (base damage) × 9 (total multiplier) = 1800**

Thus, the final damage formula looks like this:

> **Final Squad Damage = (Total squad attributes) × ((Rarity multiplier) + (Offering multiplier))**

## Awards

| **League**      | **Damage**  | **Rewards**                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              |
